​The name Maria & Crown is deeply rooted in our own history. Maria is one of our cherished family names. Historically, for centuries, Maria was carried not just as a name, but as a universal title of womanhood, grace, and devotion. Pair that with a Crown—the symbol of childhood magic, imagination, and the quiet dignity of a mother—and our brand was born.

​This line is a labor of love shared with my mother, Dinie, an incredibly talented, lifelong tailor. For decades, she built a beautiful, successful career crafting everything from bespoke garments to breathtaking wedding dresses, pouring her heart and artistry into every piece while proudly raising her three children. Today, she brings that same masterful skill, devotion, and seasoned care to making these everyday pieces alongside me.

​We do not design our own clothing. Instead, we stay true to authentic, original vintage sewing patterns. By reviving these genuine historical designs, we are able to share the exact silhouettes, timeless tailoring, and classic details from eras gone by.
